According to the lists which have already been verified, russian invaders deported almost 40 thousand persons to russia or the temporarily occupied part of the Donetsk region, the Mariupol city mayor Vadym Boychenko said, according to Ukrinform.

“We have already verified the lists of the people who were deported from Mariupol to russia or the so-called dnr. It makes almost 40 thousand people. Now, they started concealing these lists. Unfortunately, now we are not quite able to verify this information, but we continue this work,” Boychenko said.

According to Boychenko, russian military deports the “local population to the outskirts of russia, the Far East, or Siberia and use them for various works.”

The citizens of Mariupol are issued a displaced person certificate and employed in humiliating jobs where positions are not filled by russians. “This has the sign of fascism,” Boychenko stated.
