French President Emmanuel Macron held two-hour telephone negotiations with russian president volodymyr putin. For the first time since the declaration of war crimes of the russian army in Bucha, Macron called putin. This was announced at the Elysian Palace, writes Le Parisien.
The russian side reported that putin talked about the russian federation's position in negotiations with Ukraine and assured that russia is "open to dialogue," despite "Kyiv's unpreparedness for serious work."
"On the French side expressed concern about the problem of guaranteeing global food security that arose. In this context, volodymyr putin stressed that the situation in this issue is complicated primarily because of the sanctions measures of Western countries, and emphasized the importance of the unimpeded functioning of the global logistics and transport infrastructure," - the Kremlin press service wrote.
