Austria is ready to impose an embargo on russian oil. This was stated by the Austrian Minister of Transport Leonore Gewessler during a special meeting of EU energy ministers in Brussels, writes Kurier.
The Minister noted that Austria is ready to consistently support the oil embargo if the European Commission and the Member States decide to impose it.
According to Gewessler, Austria has already stopped refining russian oil in March.
