Russia didn’t allow the evacuation of people from Tokmak, Berdyansk, and Vasylivka. This was reported by the Head of the Zaporizhya Regional Military Administration Alexander Starukh.
«We prepared 50 buses for evacuation. But when it became clear that most people of Mariupol would not be taken away, we agreed to take our Zaporizhians from Berdyansk, Tokmak, Vasylivka. But, unfortunately, the opposite side did not allow any bus to stop and pick up people», Starukh said.
Columns with evacuees from Mariupol and “Azovstal” arrive in Zaporizhia. A total of 156 people were evacuated from the plant.
