President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recalled that the European Union is about to impose a new sanctions package against russia soon.
He stated that in his video address.
President mentioned that this package should include concrete steps that would block the rf's income from energy resources.
"So that the terrorist state doesn't get 1bn euros daily for its fossil fuels. But also it's necessary to already prepare for the next sanction measures. In any case, all the export and import operations with Russia will have to be blocked. Because otherwise, Moscow will not understand it must respect international law and peace in Europe," – Zelenskyy emphasized.
The oil embargo will become the biggest and most important part of the EU's sixth sanctions package.
