The Swedish embassy will resume work in Kyiv after a forced evacuation due to a full-scale Russian military invasion of Ukraine, announced the head of the Foreign Ministry of the Kingdom Ann Linde via Twitter.
On Wednesday, the Swedish Embassy will re-open in #Kyiv. Thank you @TobiasThyberg & team for your hard work, and to 🇵🇱 for temporarily hosting us. Sweden will continue to #StandWithUkraine, and is delighted that @SwedeninUA's diplomatic presence will be back where it belongs 🇸🇪🇺🇦

Linde announced the return of the diplomatic mission staff to Kyiv on May 4.
"Thank you, the Ambassador Tobias Thyberg and team, for your hard work and to Poland for temporarily hosting us. Sweden will continue to stand with Ukraine and is delighted that its diplomatic presence will be back where it belongs," wrote the minister.
The US embassy may return to Kyiv in late May. So far, more than 20 embassies have returned to Kyiv.
