The number of people displaced from Ukraine exceeds 6 million, in total more than 100 million refugees in the world, - the UN Refugee Agency
As a result of a full-scale war, more than 6 million people left Ukraine. The total number of internally displaced persons exceeds 8 million, according to a report by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
There are currently more than 100 million refugees in the world. This is a record.
"A record that should never have been set. This should be an alarming signal to resolve and prevent destructive conflicts, stop harassment and remove the reason which forced the innocent people to leave their homes," Filippo Grandi, UN High Commissioner for Refugees, said.
To remind, more than 5 million Ukrainians have moved to EU countries. Most of them, more than 3 million, stay in Poland.
