The Security Service of Ukraine has exposed the special services of the russian federation for using smartphone games to recruit Ukrainian children.

The SSU reported about it in Telegram.

"In one of the applications, participants have to look for so-called" boxes "with virtual prizes that can be exchanged for electronic money. During the route, children take photos of the area, military and critical infrastructure in various localities," - said in message.

At the same time, an IT company controlled by russia's intelligence services, which is registered in one of the European countries and distributes interactive platforms, has access to the administration of the application.

Thus, the enemy used Ukrainian children without their knowledge to gather information about the location of strategically important objects, the SSU emphasizes.

Two teenagers were detained in the Kirovohrad region for photographing checkpoints, elevators and transport routes.

The SSU is currently working to block hostile interference in the electronic systems of official mobile applications and bring the perpetrators to justice.

Earlier, SSU exposed in the Kyiv region the former militiaman who sold the state databases.
