The Czech Republic has donated attack helicopters to Ukraine, and along with Slovakia, has allowed Ukraine’s military to send dozens of armored vehicles across their borders for repairs before they are returned to the conflict, reported by The Wall Street Journal with reference to the Pentagon.

According to the publication, the Ukrainian side received Soviet-designed Mi-24 gunships, which were sent to Ukraine as a result of joint efforts of the Allies to reclaim the state airspace.

In addition, the Czech Republic and Slovakia received several echelons of armored vehicles from Ukraine to restore and return to service.

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin thanked the Czechs for their contribution to Ukraine's struggle.
