On Thursday, 26 May 2022, the enemy aircraft activity level decreased slightly, probably due to weather conditions.
The Air Forces of the UAF (Armed Forces of Ukraine) reported this information.
Still, the occupiers' tactical aircraft continue conducting round-the-clock patrols in the Black and Azov Seas and along Ukraine's borders.
"The Defense Forces are facing a difficult situation in the Luhansk area. This is the territory, where missiles of various types, fired by occupiers from the territory of russia, most often hit," - reads the statement. One of them - an air-to-surface missile X-59 - was shot down by an anti-aircraft missile unit of the Air Forces.
In addition, the Air Defense Forces of the Ground Forces hit the UAV "Orlan-10", and the militaries from one of the brigades shot down an enemy Ka-52 helicopter using MANPADS "Stinger."
Yesterday in the Chernivtsi region Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down the missile of the russian federation army.
