Rashists’ media spread fakes about besieged Sievierodonetsk. It’s not true.
This statement was made public by the Head of Luhansk RMA Serhiy Hayday.
He stressed that the city is under constant enemy fire.
"The regional center has not been cut off; the fighting continues on the outskirts of the city. The russians entered the territory of the Mir Hotel and the bus station," Hayday said.
According to him, the invaders will not be able to capture the region in the coming days, because the Ukrainian defenders "have enough forces and means to hold the line".
"However, it is possible that in order not to be surrounded - will have to withdraw," - added the Head of Luhansk region.
Today the Ministry of Defense reported that the main purpose of the russian federation - to surround the Ukrainian troops near Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk and to reach the administrative border of the Luhansk region.
The SES stresses that the enemy is using tactics of total destruction in the Luhansk region.
