British Foreign Secretary Elizabeth Truss stressed that the allies legally transfer tanks and aircraft to Ukraine.
She made this statement during her visit to Prague, according to Reuters.
"We clearly understand that it is perfectly legal to transfer tanks and aircraft to Ukraine, and we strongly support the work done by the Czech Republic in sending tanks to Ukraine," she said.
As reported, in April, the Czech Republic became the first NATO country to announce the transfer of tanks to Ukraine. On 25 May, it was the first to announce the provision of combat helicopters to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Together with Slovakia, the Czech Republic is currently repairing dozens of armored vehicles from Ukraine.
The NATO countries agreed to support Ukraine further to help it "oust Russia". Ukrainian defenders are already actively using equipment and weapons, provided by partners. In particular, training takes place on the American M113 armored personnel carriers, these are already in service with the Ukrainian infantry.
