Decisions to terminate fraternal agreements with russian cities have already been made by cities in countries such as Australia, Austria, Great Britain, Denmark, Greece, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Canada, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, USA, Finland, Czech Republic, Sweden, Netherlands.
In addition, the Union of Baltic Cities recently decided to include the russian cities of St. Petersburg and Gatchina from its membership. Instead, the Ukrainian city of Vivnyansk joined the organization as an associate member.
