As of the morning of May 30, 2022, more than 687 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of full-scale armed aggression by the russian federation. According to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 243 children died and more than 444 were injured, reported by the Office of the Attorney General.

These figures are not final, as work is underway to establish them in places of active hostilities, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

The most affected children were in Donetsk region - 153, Kyiv region - 116, Kharkiv region - 109, Chernihiv region - 68, Luhansk region - 52, Kherson region - 52, Mykolaiv region - 47, Zaporizhia region - 29, Sumy region - 17, Kyiv city - 16, Zhytomyr region - 15.

On May 29 as a result of enemy artillery shelling of the village of Myrolyubivka, Kherson district, Kherson region, a 9-year-old girl was killed. Two more children: a 7-month-old baby and a 5-year-old girl were injured.

On May 26, a 16-year-old boy was wounded in a shelling by russian troops in Lysychansk, Luhansk region.

On May 25 as a result of shelling a 3-year-old boy was injured in the village of Studenok of Izyum district of Kharkiv region.

As a result of constant bombing and shelling by the russian armed forces of Ukrainian cities and villages, 1,888 educational institutions were damaged. At the same time, 180 of them were completely destroyed.

The russian occupiers take children to filtration camps. On May 18, Mariupol Mayor's Adviser Petro Andryushchenko said that the invaders were preparing to deport 539 people, including 55 children, from Mariupol, from the Bezimenne filtration camp.
