At night and at dawn on May 30, russian troops launched two missile strikes on the Odesa region, wrote in Telegram Serhiy Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Regional Military Administration, citing a report from the Operational Command “South”.

"Desperately continuing to destroy the non-functioning bridge across the Dniester estuary, the rushists [translator's note - russian+fascist] hit the same broken track. Several private houses were damaged by the shock wave. There are no casualties among the population," the statement said.

One missile was shot down by air defense forces.

The bridge over the Dniester estuary was fired upon by the enemy back in April. On April 26, a rocket attack on the Odesa region damaged a bridge across the Dniester estuary in Zatoka. The next day, the russian federation fired on the bridge again. And on May 2, russia struck another missile strike on the object. The same thing happened on May 10 and May 17.

This bridge is of strategic importance, as it provides road and rail connections of the southern part of Odesa region with the rest of Ukraine. This bridge also runs the road from Romania.
