Explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhya at around 2 p.m. local time as air sirens went off all across Ukraine, except for Kherson Region and Crimea.

According to the regional administration, there were two hits by russian rockets.

"The ruscists targeted an infrastructure facility in Zaporizhzhya. There is information about two hits. Relevant services are working at the site," city council secretary Anatoliy Kurtyev said.

There are casualties, he added.

Local residents were asked not to share unverified information about the explosions.
