Ukraine will win the war against the Russian occupiers, after which the Russian Federation will begin to disintegrate into separate state formations, Ukrainian Defence Minister Oleksiy Reznikov has said on the air of the national telethon, as quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.
"I want us all to believe in the victory of Ukraine, I want you and myself to believe that good will definitely defeat evil, because you and I are on the bright side of power. And it surely has an advantage over the darkness. You and I will defeat the orcs and the country of Mordor will fall into separate state entities," Reznikov said.
According to him, the process of Russia's disintegration will be seen even by Ukrainians living now.
"We will remain integral, independent and united," he said.
The defence minister also expressed confidence that this year's Independence Day is one of the most important ones in Ukrainian history.
He noted that Ukrainians "definitely should not miss the chance to defend their independence".
Since the start of the full-scale invasion, Russia has lost 12,142 pieces of equipment worth $16.56bn in Ukraine, not including missiles.
