The first case of monkepox in Ukraine was confirmed by a PLR test on 15 September, the Health Ministry's press service has said.
The patient has light condition, such as mild fever and rash, and is being treated in hospital.
The person said he had had no contacts with monkeypox patients or travelled abroad.
The Health Ministry did not name the patient's region.
