Just as the enemy withdrew from Kyiv and Kharkivregions and Zmiyinyy island, the probable withdrawal from Kherson is the resultof our active actions, Deputy Chief of the Main Operational Directorate of theGeneral Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksiy Hromov stated at abriefing.
In the Kherson area, the defence forces destroyed theenemy's logistics routes and supply systems, disrupted its command and controlsystems, so the enemy had no choice but to flee. The General Staff cancurrently neither deny nor confirm the information about the so-calledwithdrawal of Russian troops. The offensive operation is going according toplan.
As of 10 November, there were no drastic changes inthe operational and strategic situation.
Russia continues to concentrate its main efforts onthe occupation of Ukraine and the genocide of Ukrainians.
The intensity of missile attacks has decreased, butthe enemy continues terror tactics against the civilian population of Ukraine.Russians are trying to destroy the energy infrastructure.
Despite public statements, the mobilisation continues.In some regions, summonses are distributed, and enterprises are obliged to formmobilisation reserves. To replenish the weapons losses, Russians are trying toattract Iran, North Korea and Belarus.
Defence forces continue to steadily liberate the Ukrainian land. In Luhansk Region, Ukrainian troops advanced up to twokilometres in some areas.
The Ukrainian Defence Forces also continue active actions in Kherson and Mykolaiv regions. Hromov stressed that behind every so-called gesture of goodwill of the enemy there is tremendous work of our warriors.
As reported, yesterday minister of defence of the occupiers Sergey Shoigu announced the withdrawal of troops from Kherson Region to the left bank of the Dnipro river. Kherson - the only regional centre that Russians have managed to occupy since 24 February 2022 - is located on the right bank.
