Currently, more than 8,000 sq km are subject to demining in Kherson and Mykolayiv regions, of which about 7,000 sq km is in Kherson Region and up to 1,500 sq km in Mykolayiv Region.

"A significant number of pyrotechnic units of the SES work in the de-occupied territories of these regions in cooperation with military-civilian administrations. All tasks are being fulfilled, the main of which are launching life support systems and providing assistance to citizens. Fire and rescue units are functioning, on the basis of which humanitarian hubs are being created, from where the aid arriving in Kherson Region is being distributed," Kruk said.
