Kherson regional prosecutors together with police investigators inspected the place of shooting of seven civilians, including a minor girl, the Prosecutor-General's Office has said.

"According to preliminary data, in April 2022, during the occupation of one of the villages of Kherson District by the Russian Armed Forces, the Russian military shot seven civilians in a house. After that, the occupiers blew up the house with the shot people," it said.

Tentatively, the victims were employees of a company that guarded irrigation units near the village, as well as a minor girl. The dead were buried near the scene, and the girl was buried by her parents at the local cemetery.

To ensure proper investigation of the war crime, investigative actions are underway, including a forensic medical examination.

The pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with deliberate murder (Article 438 Part 2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) is ongoing.

Yesterday the Security Service of Ukraine discovered another torture chamber in liberated Kherson. There Russians kept Ukrainian patriots who refused to cooperate with the enemy.
