This evening, mobile communication was restored in Chornobayivka, Kherson Region, the head of the Kherson regional military administration, Yaroslav Yanushevych, has said.
"We have just launched a lifecell base station in Chornobayivka. Voice communication is now working in the village," Yanushevych said in a Telegram message.
In addition, efforts continue to restore communication in Kherson.
Thus, from 15 November, a public Wi-Fi access point will become available near the railway station.
"In this place, Kherson residents can contact their relatives from 09:00 to 17:00," Yanushevych added.
Vodafone's base station near the Svyatodukhivskyy Cathedral in the city's Suvorovskyy district has also resumed its work. Now mobile communication and Internet are available within a radius of 10 km.
"There is a mobile base station of Kyivstar in the city centre, in Svobody Square. There is voice communication within a radius of 2 km. The station operates around the clock with a technical break from 17:00 to 19:00," Yanushevych said.
Yesterday, mobile communication was also restored in the de-occupied village of Snihurivka, Mykolayiv Region.
