Ukraine's air defence downed most Russian missiles in the area of Kyiv on 15 November, the head of the Kyiv city military administration, Serhiy Popko, has said.
"I thank our air defence forces! Today air defence units downed 18 out of 21 missiles in the area of Kyiv. I thank the defenders of our sky!" he added.
According to earlier reports, some apartment blocks in the capital's Pecherskyy district got damaged by the Russian missile strike. One of them is a high-rise. One victim has been reported by 5.01 p.m.
Overall, Russia fired nearly a hundred missiles at Ukraine on 15 November, most of them at energy infrastructure facilities.
