Executive Vice-President of the European Commission Valdis Dombrovskis arrived in Kyiv, according to his account on Twitter.
During the visit, Dombrovskis will discuss with Ukrainian leaders the support provided by the European Union.
“Arrived in Kyiv to discuss EU’s support to Ukraine, focus on emergency financial support and our plans for 2023,” he wrote.
Dombrovskis noted that he will discuss with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal specific steps for closer economic integration between the EU and Ukraine.
By the end of the year, the European Commission is to provide a conclusion on Ukraine's implementation of recommendations on joining the EU.
