Cyber police officers shut down 13 enemy bot farms, the Interior Ministry has said.
"More than 1.5 million accounts in various social networks and mail services were found. They were created to spread pro-Russian fakes and propaganda," the Interior Ministry said.
More than 100,000 SIM cards were used to register accounts, which were seized by law enforcement officers.
The attackers also distributed malicious software for mobile phones and made money transfers to Russia.
Law-enforcement officers exposed 31 persons involved in criminal activity.
As previously reported, since the beginning of the year, the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has neutralized more than 4,500 cyber-attacks on Ukraine. Today, Russia carries out an average of more than 10 cyberattacks per day.
