On 2 February, the Council of the European Union allocated 500m euros to Ukraine, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has said on Twitter.
According to him, this is the seventh package of financial assistance to our country. The EU will also provide 45m euros for a military assistance mission.
Kuleba noted that the security assistance from the bloc is "vital" and brings Ukraine "closer to victory over the Russian aggressor".
Also, the IMF is considering a $16bn aid package for Ukraine. Meanwhile, the Japanese government has allocated another $170m for Ukraine's recovery.
