The acting head of the Kyiv Tax Inspectorate, Oksana Datiy, has tendered a letter of resignation, sources in the tax service have told LB.ua.

"She wrote a letter of resignation immediately after the searches. It is possible that there will be a suspicion of illicit enrichment. I have no doubt that there is. However, in fact, she was engaged in small-scale affairs, there is nothing systemic there," the source said, providing a photo of the statement.

Earlier, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak of the Voice faction announced a meeting of the "parliamentary investigatory commission on economic security" on 9 February on the case of recent searches in the Kyiv tax office and possible VAT abuse. Representatives of the Ministry of Finance, the Tax Service, the State Bureau of Investigation, and other government agencies will be invited. Also, our colleagues, MPs," he wrote.

On 1 February, officers of the State Bureau of Investigation conducted searches at the Kyiv Tax Inspectorate, including at Datiy's office.
