Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko met with German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius in Kyiv. They discussed, among other things, strengthening all types of assistance for Ukraine, Klitschko wrote on his Facebook page.
"We met with German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius in Kyiv. Germany will continue to stand by Ukraine with weapons, economic aid, and political support," Klitschko said.
According to him, after the appointment of a new German defence minister, decisions on providing Ukraine with weapons will be made faster.
"It is important that the European partners are ready to make decisions on providing Ukraine with the most necessary things to defeat the Russian aggressor in a more timely manner," said Vitaliy Klitschko.
Vitaliy Klitschko was accompanied by his brother Volodymyr Klitschko at the meeting with the head of the German Defence Ministry.
