The German defence minister expressed admiration for the speed of Ukrainians' training.

The Ukrainian military has already left for Germany to train on Leopard 2 tanks, German Defence Minister Boris Pistorius has said at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Oleksiy Reznikov at the Military Media Center.

He added that today he had the honour to see the soldiers to training on Leopards.

"I admire the speed of training of Ukrainians who acquire knowledge. The weapon systems are working effectively for Ukraine in this war of aggression by Russia. This applies to Marder, NASAMS, Patriot. It also shows how well Ukrainian soldiers are working," Pistorius said.

Pistorius arrived in Ukraine today.

He said that Ukraine would receive more guided missiles for air defence by the end of February. By the end of March, a batch of Leopard 2A6 tanks will arrive, and by the end of this month, Ukraine will receive five Gepard anti-aircraft guns and five more Badger armoured engineering vehicles.
