The 359th day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun. Over the past day, the enemy fired 41 missiles of various types at the territory of Ukraine, five of them - converted S-300 systems - at Kharkiv. 16 missiles were shot down by our defenders.

In addition, the occupiers carried out 24 air strikes and fired more than 50 times from multiple launch rocket systems. There are wounded and dead among the civilian population. The threat of attacks remains high throughout Ukraine, according to the morning report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The invaders' main focus is the offensive operations in Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, and Shakhtarske areas.

Volyn, Polissya, Siversk and Slobozhansk areas: certain adversary units remain stationed in the zones bordering Ukraine, but no offensive groups have been found. During 16 February, the vicinities of settlements of Popivka, Bachivsk, Partyzanske (Sumy Region), Veterynarne, Hraniv, and Vovchansk (Kharkiv Region) were shelled by the enemy. In addition, the adversary launched a helicopter gunship attack on the settlement of Udy (Kharkiv Region) from the territory of the Russian Federation.

Kupyansk and Lyman areas: the enemy shelled the settlements of Dvorichna, Hryanykivka (Kharkiv Region), Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka (Luhansk Region), and Berestove (Donetsk Region).

Bakhmut area: Spirne, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Vesele, Rozdolivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Predtechyne, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and Kurdyumivka came under fire.

Avdiyivka and Shakhtarske areas: the adversary fired artillery at the settlements of Vesele, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Marinka, Novomykhaylivka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vremivka, and Neskuchne (Donetsk Region).

Zaporizhzhya area: the vicinities of settlements of Zelene Pole (Donetsk Region), Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Novoandriyivka, and Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhya Region) came under fire.

Kherson area: Zmiyivka, Tokarivka, Antonivka, and Kherson were again hit by enemy artillery fire that caused civilian casualties.

The occupational administration of Hola Prystan (Kherson Region) is pressuring the local residents to re-register their property rights under Russian law. In particular, information is being spread that Ukrainian citizens who do not comply with the occupiers' demands by May 2023 will be deported to Russia.

In Mariupol, temporarily occupied by the enemy, Russian invaders are taking measures to “mobilize” certain members of society. From now on, homeless people, as well as alcohol or drug addicts are being taken to the enemy’s army.

During the day of 16 February, the Ukrainian Air Force launched 13 air strikes on concentrations of Russian troops, as well as 1 air strike on the position of the anti-aircraft missile system.

Ukrainian missile and artillery units hit 3 concentrations of enemy troops, 1 artillery unit at its firing position, 1 ammunition depot, and 2 other important targets of the invaders.
