Russia's nighttime attack with missiles and drones will not lead to the need to limit electricity consumption, Ukrenergo (Ukrenerho) reports.

Electricity consumption has increased slightly compared to yesterday.

"There has been no power deficit in the power system for five days in a row, and it is not expected today either. Power plants generate enough electricity to cover the existing consumption," Ukrenergo noted.

Currently, all types of power plants are operating in Ukraine, with thermal and hydro generation covering peak consumption in the morning and evening hours. Electricity imports are declining as the country's power supply stabilizes.

Due to the absence of a power shortage, consumption limits have not been imposed on the regions to date. However, if consumption increases, blackouts may be applied. Actual consumption is measured according to the Dnipropetrovsk Region's schedule.

Odesa still faces network restrictions due to damaged infrastructure. Businesses are returning to active operation, so hourly outage schedules are being applied to avoid overloading equipment.

"Please remember that more than 10 GW of the main installed capacities are currently inaccessible to the Ukrainian power system and are under the enemy's control. This includes Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant, the largest in Ukraine and Europe, as well as Zaporizhzhya Thermal Power Plant, Luhansk Thermal Power Plant, Vuhlehirsk Thermal Power Plant, and Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant. In addition, the majority of wind and solar power plants are also located in the temporarily occupied territories of the south," the statement said.
