Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba has suggested that Ukraine is unlikely to receive fighter jets to fight Russian aggression in the near future.
"I do not expect the delivery of fighter jets to take place in the near future, as it is a very difficult task from a logistical and technical point of view," the minister said in an interview with Bild.
Therefore, Ukraine is suggesting Ukrainian pilots already start training on Western aircraft. When a decision is made to provide fighter jets, they will waste no time on training.
The head of the Polish president's office, Pawel Szrot, said that Warsaw was ready to transfer a small number of its MiG-29 aircraft to Ukraine.
