Despite significant losses, the enemy continues its offensive in the Liman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Maryinka and Shakhtarsk areas.
Over the past day, units of the Defence Forces repelled 102 enemy attacks in these areas, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook on the morning of the 383rd day of the large-scale Russian invasion.
The Russian Federation continues to use terrorist tactics, including indiscriminate shelling of populated areas, thereby Russia keeps violating rules and norms of International Humanitarian Law.
Over the past day, the enemy launched 3 missile strikes, including against the civilian infrastructure of the town of Slovyansk, Donetsk Region. Moreover, the enemy conducted 8 air strikes and launched 49 MLRS attacks.
The threat of missile attacks remains high across Ukraine.
Volyn, Polissya, Siversk and Slobozhansk areas: the operational situation has not changed significantly. The enemy maintains its military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine, however, there are no signs of the formation of offensive groupings. The occupiers continue to harden defensive positions in the border areas of Belgorod Region. During the day, the occupiers shelled the vicinities of Volfyne (Sumy Region); Strilecha, Mali Prohody, Krasne, Velykyy Burluk, and Bolohivka settlements (Kharkiv Region).
Kupyansk and Lyman areas: the enemy makes further attempts to break through Ukrainian defence lines. Russian troops attempted an unsuccessful offensive in the vicinities of Dvorichna, Nevske, Chervonpopivka, Kreminna, Dibrova, Bilohorivka, and Verkhnyokamyanske. The vicinities of Dvorichna, Zapadne, Masyutivka, Kupyansk, Krokhmalne, Pischane and Cherneshchyna settlements (Kharkiv Region); Novoselivske, Makiyivka, Nevske, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Region); as well as Siversk and Spirne (Donetsk Region) came under artillery fire.
Bakhmut area: the enemy does not cease attempts to capture the town of Bakhmut. Our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the vicinities of Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orihovo-Vasylivka, and Ivanivske settlements. In particular, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Predtechine, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Druzhba, Mayorsk, and New York (Donetsk Region) suffered enemy attacks.
Avdiyivka, Maryinka, and Shakhtarsk areas: the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinities of Kamyanka, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Severne, Pervomayske, Maryinka, and Pobeda settlements. The vicinities of many other settlements along the line of contact, including, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Tonenke, Vodyane, Heorhiyivka, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Hostre, Pobeda, Vuhledar, Vremivka, and Neskuchne (Donetsk Region), were subjects to enemy attacks.
Zaporizhzhya and Kherson areas: the enemy stays on the defensive. The vicinities of Olhivske, Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriyivka, and Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhya Region); Beryslav, Ponyativka, Dniprovske, and Bilozerka (Kherson Region); Tamaryna and Ochakiv (Mykolayiv Region) suffered enemy attacks.
The Russian invaders continue to plunder the temporarily captured territories. Recently, in Enerhodar, the occupiers started to dismantle and remove equipment from the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant training centre, which was used to improve the qualifications of personnel.
Despite the heavy losses of personnel in the war, the enemy uses alternative sources of replenishment of manpower. So, last week, the movement of a train with first-class carriages for the transportation of prisoners was noted towards Donetsk Region. One of the wagons contains condemned women.
During the day, Ukrainian Air Force targeted a Russian anti-aircraft missile complex and conducted air strikes on Russian troops and military equipment concentration areas.
Ukrainian missile and artillery troops attacked 1 command post, 2 concentrations of enemy troops and military equipment, as well as 2 ammunition depots and 1 fuel and lubricants warehouse.
