Russian troops remain in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Region, the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.
It has thus retracted its earlier report about the alleged withdrawal of Russians from the town, which was made public "as a result of incorrect use of available data".
"However, we will certainly liberate Nova Kakhovka," the General Staff added.
In its 6 p.m. report on 22 March, the General Staff said that all units of the Russian occupying army that were stationed in Nova Kakhovka, Kherson Region, left the city.
