President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Kherson Region and promised residents a speedy recovery, the presidential press service reports.
"Working trip to Kherson Region. The village of Posad Pokrovske, where many houses and social infrastructure facilities were damaged as a result of Russia's full-scale aggression. Now the electricity and water supply are being restored, the medical dispensary is being rebuilt, and people are returning," he said in a statement.
Zelenskyy and representatives of the President's Office inspected the Invincibility Point and one of the mobile homes installed in the village.
The President spoke to locals about current issues and needs.
"We will restore and rebuild everything. Just like every town and village that suffered from the occupiers," he said.
In addition, the delegation visited one of the energy facilities in Kherson Region. In particular, during the visit, the President addressed the situation with the electricity supply to the settlements of Kherson Region.
The President also held a coordination meeting on the situation in Kherson Region to discuss the current security situation, restoration of the damaged infrastructure of the region and power grids, and demining of the de-occupied territories.
Zelenskyy recently visited Ukrainian defenders in the Bakhmut area. The President presented them with awards.
