Over the past day, Russian occupiers carried out 37 air and 4 missile strikes, one of which was on Kramatorsk. The enemy also fired 82 times from multiple launch rocket systems, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook on the morning of the 394th day of the large-scale Russian invasion.

The likelihood of missile strikes across Ukraine remains quite high.

The adversary is focusing its main efforts on the offensive operations in Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka, Marinka, and Shakhtarske areas. Thanks to their professional and coordinated actions, Ukrainian defenders repelled more than 79 enemy attacks on these areas.

Volyn, Polissya, Siversk, and Slobozhansk areas: no significant changes. The Russian Federation continues to maintain a military presence in the territory of the Republic of Belarus. No formation of any offensive groups was found. At the same time, the adversary continued engineering development of terrain in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk Regions (Russia). The enemy fired mortars and artillery at the vicinities of more than 20 settlements. Among them are: Tymonovychi (Chernihiv Region), Zarutske, Popivka (Sumy Region), Morozova Dolyna, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Krasne, Ternova, Starytsya, Zemlyanky, Kreidyanka, Vilkhuvatka, Shevyakivka, Ambarne, and Bolohivka (Kharkiv Region).

Kupyansk and Lyman areas: the adversary fired artillery at the vicinities of Hryanykivka, Kupyansk, Krokhmalne, Tabayivka, Terny (Kharkiv Region), Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makiyivka, Nevske, Pishchane, Bilohorivka (Luhansk Region), Hryhorivka, Verkhnokamyanske, and Spirne (Donetsk Region) during the day of 23 March.

Bakhmut area: the enemy has not stopped its assault on Bakhmut. It was in the vicinity of this town that most of the combat engagements in this area took place during the day of 23 March. Adversary attacks were also repelled in the vicinities of settlements of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, and Predtechyne (Donetsk Region). The enemy shelled Vasyukivka, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Predtechyne, Zalizne, Pivnichne, and New York (Donetsk Region). In total, more than 15 settlements were affected by these criminal actions of the occupiers.

Avdiyivka, Maryinka, and Shakhtarske areas: the adversary conducted unsuccessful offensive operations towards the settlements of Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Avdiyivka, Severne, Pervomayske, Marinka, and Novomykhaylivka (Donetsk Region). In particular, Novokalynove, Novobakhmutivka, Stepove, Kamyanka, Avdiyivka, Netaylove, Lastochkyne, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiyivka, Marinka, Vuhledar, Velyka Novosilka, Orlivka, Novomykhaylivka, and Prechystivka (Donetsk Region) came under numerous enemy attacks.

Zaporizhzhya and Kherson areas: the adversary continues to defend. At the same time, it carried out intensive shelling, in particular, of Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhove, Novoandriyivka, Stepove, Kamyanske (Zaporizhzhya Region), Chervonyy Mayak, Beryslav, Lvove, Novotyahynka, Antonivka, and the city of Kherson (Kherson Region).

Due to the significant losses suffered by the occupiers daily, the enemy decided to increase bed capacity in the hospitals operating in the temporarily occupied territory of Luhansk Region. In particular, the number of beds in the military hospital in Troyitske has been doubled from 200 to 400. At the same time, all wounded officers were evacuated to the territory of the Russian Federation by helicopters between 17 and 18 March.

There was an increase in mortality among the wounded invaders between 17 and 21 March, due to the growing number of serious injuries and poor medical care, in particular, due to insufficiently professional medical staff.

On the day of 23 March, Ukrainian Air Force launched 12 air strikes on the concentrations of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers. Ukrainian defenders also shot down two Kh-59 guided aircraft missiles and 4 UAVs of various types.

At the same time, missile and artillery units hit 1 command post, 1 concentration of manpower, weapons, and military equipment of the adversary, 1 anti-aircraft missile system, and 2 fuel and lubricant depots.
