The National Antiсorruption Bureau is conducting investigative actions at the Kharkiv regional military administration.
"Today, the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine is indeed conducting investigative actions in some structural units of the Kharkiv regional military administration. In particular, the leadership of the Kharkiv regional military administration and the department of agricultural development," the bureau said.
The regional military administration said that it fully cooperates with the NABU, providing detectives with all requested documents and necessary information.
The NABU confirms the fact of the searches, but does not disclose details.
"In response to media inquiries, we would like to inform you that NABU detectives, under the procedural guidance of SAPO prosecutors, are conducting investigative actions (searches) at the Kharkiv military-civilian administration," the NABU said in a statement.
It is noted that the investigative actions are authorised and carried out in accordance with the current legislation.
"Other details are not disclosed to preserve the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation," the NABU said.
Earlier, the editor-in-chief of Censor.net, Yuriy Butusov, citing sources, said that NABU detectives had conducted searches at the Kharkiv regional state administration, in particular in the offices of the head of the Kharkiv regional state administration, Oleh Synyehubov, his deputy Vita Kovalska and the director of the department of agricultural development, Andriy Dorozhko.
"The case concerns the embezzlement of humanitarian aid purchased at state expense after the start of the Russian invasion of Kharkiv region in 2022," Butusov said on Facebook.
