On the evening of 8 June, Russian forces launched a missile attack on Uman District, Cherkasy Region, the head of the Cherkasy regional military administration, Ihor Taburets, has said.
"We have two hits: on an industrial facility and a car wash. In the second case, a fire broke out as a result of the hit," Taburets said.
He noted that tentatively, eight people were hurt, two of them seriously.
Emergency services are working at the scene.
