Today, 9 June, Russians shelled a hospital in the town of Hulyaypole in Zaporizhzhya Region, the head of the Ukrainian presidential office, Andriy Yermak, has said.
"Zaporizhzhya Region. Russians shelled a hospital in the town of Hulyaypole. Two hospital staff members were killed, a junior nurse and a plumber," he added.
According to the regional military administration, a 46-year-old employee who continued to perform his duties on the line of fire despite the danger and a 55-year-old woman who was near the site of the hit were killed.
Two nurses sustained cut injuries from the shrapnel and did not need hospitalisation.
Specialists immediately began rescue and search operations after the attack on Hulyaypole.
