This morning, the Russian troops hit Chasiv Yar in Donetsk Region with cluster munitions. The Palace of Culture was hit as a result of the shelling. It was a humanitarian headquarters and a place for providing medical aid, says Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of Donetsk Military Administration on Facebook.
According to the report, the building caught fire, and the employees of the State Emergency Service arrived at the site. However, the shelling did not stop, so the rescuers had to stop their work.
"The building of the Palace of Culture burned down. A small stock of humanitarian aid (food kits, household detergents) and medical equipment was destroyed," the report says.
There were no casualties, adds Kyrylenko.
On 22 Saturday, Russia shelled Donetsk Region 22 times, killing four and injuring 11.
