NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg is convening a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Council on 26 July at the request of Kyiv, DW reports.
The parties will meet to "discuss recent developments and the transportation of Ukrainian grain via the Black Sea", NATO spokesperson Oana Lungescu said.
According to her, the meeting will be held at the ambassadorial level.
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that he had asked Stoltenberg to immediately convene the NATO-Ukraine Council for crisis consultations on the security situation in the Black Sea following a series of Russian daily massive attacks on Odesa and the region.
