Ukraine has returned the bodies of 84 more fallen defenders, reports the Ministry of Reintegration.
Today, the bodies of fallen Ukrainian soldiers were repatriated from the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine (TOT). Thus, the bodies of 84 more defenders were returned.
The repatriation of the bodies from the TOT took place with the assistance of the Ministry of Reintegration, the Commissioner for Missing Persons in cooperation with the Joint Center at the Security Service of Ukraine, the Central Military Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, other law enforcement agencies, departments and international organisations.
The transfer of the bodies is carried out in accordance with the Geneva Conventions.
After identification, the bodies of the defenders will be handed over to their families for a decent burial.

In early August, Ukraine returned the bodies of 44 more killed defenders. They are to be identified.
On 14 July, Ukraine returned the bodies of 62 fallen defenders. Four of them died in captivity.
