At least 11 people have been wounded in a Russian attack on Cherkasy. The missile attack damaged a hotel building. A fire broke out, and trade pavilions at the market caught fire.
According to updated data as of 11:30 a.m., 11 people were injured. Fortunately, no one was seriously injured, the Interior Ministry said.
As of 4:30 p.m., Cherkasy rescuers reported that they had evacuated 13 people and rescued one person from the rubble.
Before that, there was information about 10 injured, and even earlier - about seven victims. One person was rescued from the rubble, the Interior Minister said.
Ihor Taburets, head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, reported damage caused by falling debris.
"As a result of the air defence work, debris fell in the central part of the city. In particular, a social infrastructure facility was damaged," he wrote.
This morning the enemy fired missiles at several regions of Ukraine. Two wounded were reported in Kharkiv and seven in Kyiv. Explosions were also heard in Khmelnytskyy and Lviv Regions, and the enemy also attacked Kherson at night.
