Operational efforts by emergency services at the site of the explosion in Kupyansk have concluded. Two more deceased civilian men have been discovered, bringing the total number of casualties from the Russian strike on Kupyansk to eight individuals, six men and two women. This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleg Synyehubov, in a Telegram post.

Two of the deceased were volunteers who were evacuating civilians.

The occupiers callously carried out the strike using Hrom-E1 missile. Law enforcement authorities are currently investigating all the circumstances of this Russian crime.

On 19 September, at around 13:00, Russian military forces conducted a missile strike on Kupyansk. At the time, a vehicle carrying volunteers who were evacuating the civilian population was crossing a bridge. As of 18:00, there were reports of six casualties.
