Vice President of the European Commission Věra Jourová has arrived in Kyiv on a working visit. She will discuss European integration initiatives, including anti-corruption, with the Ukrainian authorities.
Jourová posted a photo from the Ukrzaliznytsya train on X. She did not specify which Ukrainian officials she would meet with.
"I am glad that I was able to come to Kyiv. With our Ukrainian friends, I will discuss their initiatives in terms of expansion, especially in anti-corruption," Jourová said, assuring that Ukraine would have support as long as it needed.
Věra Jourová leads the European Commission's work on values and transparency, respecting the rule of law.
