More than 1,500 people have been tortured by Russians in occupied Enerhodar, mayor Dmytro Orlov said on Hromadske Radio.
According to him, there are two torture chambers that city residents are aware of. "These are the premises of the former SBU and National Police. The occupiers allow friends and relatives of the imprisoned to visit and bring in medicines.
"If we take the total number, there are about 10 of them (torture chambers - ed.). Some of them are located on the territory of the industrial zone of the nuclear and thermal power plant, and some are in the city," Orlov said.
