President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a long and detailed meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.

"There were detailed reports at all levels: the General Staff, the Ministry of Defence, the prime minister, regional authorities, commanders of the Operational and Tactical Groups of Forces. All decisions are in place. There must be full relevant work in the communities. Everything is absolutely detailed - our state will not run out of mines and concrete for sure. We need more speed and efficiency, and everyone responsible for this has clear tasks," Zelenskyy said in his evening address.

He noted that the participants of the meeting analysed recent attacks against Ukraine - missiles, massive drone strikes, as well as air defence tactics, in particular using NASAMS and Patriot.

"Everything is very effective, I am grateful to the partners who help us with these systems. The Air Force commander and other involved commanders, the Ministry of Defence have the necessary instructions," the President added.

According to Zelenskyy, the meeting heard reports from commanders in all areas of the frontline. Particular attention was paid to the Donetsk area: Avdiyivka, Maryinka and the Bakhmut area. "The most intense combat engagements took place there over the last day. I thank all our soldiers for their strength and resilience. I would like to emphasise the holding of our positions in the Kupyansk sector. We also discussed our actions in the southern areas," the president added.

Zelenskyy also announced "good long-range things" following a separate meeting with Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn.
