Today, a car carrying Oleg Popov, a member of the LPR People's Council and war criminal, exploded in occupied Luhansk, LB.ua's sources in the Defence Forces have said.
Initially, propagandists reported that he was seriously injured, but later they confirmed his death.
"According to our sources, this liquidation was the work of the SBU. It was a completely legitimate target, because before becoming a deputy, Popov led many Russian volunteer battalions, headed illegal paramilitary groups and killed Ukrainians. In addition, this character headed the committee on state security and defence in the so-called LPR people's council. The explosion of the head is the best advertisement of the effectiveness of this committee," the sources said.
