The Russian occupying authorities have announced the "evacuation" of the population from Nova Kakhovka on the left bank of Kherson Region. They are likely to be sent to depressed regions of Russia, a member of the Kherson regional council, Serhiy Khlan, has said.
"Those who want to be taken to a 'safe territory' must register and gather near the hospital on 13 December. It is unknown where and under what conditions they will be taken," Khlan added.
He noted that after previous evacuations, people ended up in the most depressed areas of Russia.
