Russian IL-76 military aircraft has crashed in the Belgorod Region. It may be a military transport IL-76. Such aircraft are used by Russian military and civilian aviation.
Belgorod media post a video of the crash. It is reported that the crash could have occurred near the village Krivoy.
Local governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said that an investigation team and rescuers are working at the site.
Meanwhile, Ukrayinska Pravda reported, citing sources, that the Ukrainian Armed Forces confirmed the downing of the plane, saying that "it was their job." Sources in the General Staff said the plane was carrying S-300 missiles.
The plane went down in the Korocha district of Belgorod Region.
Meanwhile, Russian media outlets report 63 dead. In particular, telegram channel 112 reports that all the people on board the IL-76 that crashed in the Korocha district were killed.
